1 Power Wheel Jeeps Great fun, but age recommendation off.
This is my opinion only, to help those unsure about what ages are best
for this cart. We purchased this for my son, an average slim caucasian 6
year old boy for his birthday. Once we had it, I wished we had gotten
it at least a year earlier based on its size. By 7, he was already well
past optimal size. By 8.5, he was really just too big for it. His
younger sister, who is larger for her age, began driving it at the low
speed when she was 3.5 or so, with her 7.5 brother riding with her, in
fenced private open space with few hazards. The younger limit is really
more about the child's ability and judgement in handling the car, and
more importantly, parental good sense and judgement. After learning and
experience with her brother, she was driving it solo, at high, and with
her younger sister as passenger, at low, by 4.5 to 5 or so, with close
parental oversight, in fenced private open space with few hazards. I
would say for an average individual child, buying it much younger than
4.5 to 5 requires very diligent supervision, and buying it much older
than 7 would make it hard to get your money's worth before they start
looking like a monkey on a matchbox car.
